I know this post doesnt fit with the general theme of this blog but since its my blog, I can write what the fuck I want. All that aside, I get home from work today and am flippin through the TV channels when I land on a show called Cash Cab on the Discovery channel. I think to myself 'how the fuck did this show ever make it to production?' I mean people are getting in car wrecks every day because of being distracted while talking on cell phones. Teens are getting killed in accidents from texting behind the wheel. And yet, this douchebag is hosting a TV gameshow while driving around in heavy New York City traffic. Is it just me, or does anyone else think the concept of this show is just fundamentally moronic? And secondly, who is underwriting the insurance for this show? Certainly not a company I hope to be doing business with in the future. I will check back tommorow, cant wait to hear peoples responses on this one. djnb

Don't know anything about that show, but the whole concept sounds stupid...
ReplyDeletegood info! thx!
ReplyDeletedisagree.....good post man
ReplyDeletewow, considering New York traffic that show might run through a lot of hosts
ReplyDeletethis show sound stupid, yet there are so many stupid shows out there that i'm not even surprised...
ReplyDeleteCash Cab is kinda stupid, but I want to play it

ReplyDeleteyeah i hate that shit
ReplyDeletenice!
ReplyDeleteI like the show but I do always wonder how he avoids accidents.
ReplyDeleteI never really thought of it that way... I would think running a gameshow out of your cab would be a little more distracting than using your cell..
ReplyDeleteDon't know the show but i agree Don't know how it is in your country but in mine driving while on the phone is a severe infriction. Also nice little blog , seeing that i'm in the dj business i'll follow your toughts
ReplyDeleteThis is why I don't bother watching TV anymore =/
ReplyDeletegreat blog background
ReplyDeleteheard of the show. can agree to an extent.
ReplyDeleteNice show!
ReplyDeleteI kinda wondered some of this too, but also being a TV production, they could also possibly close off some of the routes they use temporarily after people get in. Just a thought.

I've seen the show before. The host/driver actually is really careful and he himself isn't distracted, only the participants while answer questions and such.
ReplyDeleteYou just have to learn to be smart about general knowledge.
never seen it... but I would laugh if they had to stop recording due to some broken limb
ReplyDeleteInteresting point, but the shoe does make getting into a cab a bit more exciting until no lights go off and you have to pay 120$ in fare...
ReplyDeletegood point, also it's your blog DO WHATEVER THE HELL YOU WANT!
ReplyDeletelike checking out my blog sometime. ;D
